PET-PHRASE FOR THE TRIP:
"Francis Mok de jing shen!"
"Francis Mok de jing shen!"
Our flight was at 9.25PM, Singapore time.
I can still remember how excited I was for the trip!
Our first time travelling ourselves, PLUS, to a totally alien new country.
You can image the overwhelming amount of excitement flowing through my blood.
A really failed shot, trying to take a picture of the airplane.
A picture of Diana before the trip!
And 1 of me too!
I still mad love the booties! xx
I still mad love the booties! xx
8 odd hours of flight, and we are finally here.
Got off to a cold morning, 9degrees, in Australia.
Pretty early, about 7am(SIN)?
Touched down at Brisbane Airport(BNE), Australia - The Capital City of Queensland!
Yippe yo, yippe yay!
It was so cold we could breathe smoke!
Hahaha!
Vapour/Smoke check! (Every morning!)
Vapour/Smoke check! (Every morning!)
Got onto the coach to make our way to Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast!
(Oh, me love this place ultimate.)
(Oh, me love this place ultimate.)
On the way there, I snapped quite a number of pictures.
This is how different their scenery is, compared to Sg's.
I was talking to this lady who was down with flu on the bus.
Apparently she lives in Surfers', and just got back from a 2-week holiday!
How cool is that.
How cool is that.
I remember asking her this, "So, do you feel like you're on a holiday everyday?"
Her, "Yes, and I still do. Living here is like living in a holiday resort."
Oh lady! How envious I am of you!
Oh lady! How envious I am of you!
Diana happily sleeping away while I was all eager and jumping around.
ALAS, I PRESENT TO YOU:
SURFERS' PARADISE.
So deadly gorgeous, it takes my breathe away.
The cute little cabin, quietly hooked behind each of the van, for luggage.
How smart right?
After an hour, or so, of travelling, we arrived at our hotel,
Mantra Legends Hotel.
(Cnr Surfers Paradise Boulevard & Laycock St, Qld4217/ Ph: (07) 55887888)
For future reference k! (:
We were allocated the ninth floor!
(I AM SO HAPPY WE TOOK VIDEOS!)
(I AM SO HAPPY WE TOOK VIDEOS!)
And this was our view.
Shortly later, we left the comfort zone for some touring!
Pretty Diana.
A random famous bird.
(Nah, was kidding about the famous part.)
ORCHID AVENUE!
The lane for nightlife!
1st August '12
Went to Seaworld today!
Didn't take any pictures with the camera cause we thought we were gonna get wet :(
We took a cab from our hotel to this place,
Marina Mirage.
Marina Mirage.
The cab was crazy expensive!
It was pretty close a distance, maybe 10minutes tops?
And it costed us about $15AUD.

Diana's Moomoo slippers.
This was where we had our dinner!

"Hey mate! I would like to get my steak blue."
Yeah, blue (colour).
LOL!

We got a card from Optus with network so we were easily accessed to INTERNET.
So, we had our social life.
Heater? I'm guessing that's what it's called.
Really cute black & red concept.
Diana all excited for dinner!
Diana's drink.
(Which I have no idea what it is. Iced coffee? *Shrugs*)
(Which I have no idea what it is. Iced coffee? *Shrugs*)
My noms for the night!
Black pepper steak, medium rare!
And I tried to act classy and all by ordering this champagne.
Well, I was wrong.
But then again, the little bit of alcohol level did warm the insides of me.
And it felt good, because it was cold there!
Diana's, Pork Ribs? I guess?
Calamari rings! <3 Yay!
While paying the bill, I asked the cashier which nightclubs were good and stuff.
(HAHAHA, MISSION SECRETNIGHT)
After dinner, we were discussing how to get back to the hotel.
But, we figured the only way was via a cab.
We planned to take a cab, and got off at a certain amount of money because it was crazy expensive!
Hell no were we going to pay so much for a cab.
Hell no were we going to pay so much for a cab.
So we got off and decided to walk back to our hotel.
The really cool carpark payment modes - MASTERCARD/VISA.
Our walk back!
Those were the pigeons hovering above the sea!
(Is it pigeon even?!)
So nice right?!
Looks like those model one right?!
I don't know why I took this picture, but I did.

We then went back to our hotel, changed, and went to SIN City.
We also went to a, ahem, strip club.
(Promise you won't tell my mom!)
Exposure is good, isn't it?
We don't always want to be a frog in the well!
We don't always want to be a frog in the well!
A sleepy Diana.
We arrived here at the Marina Mirage, (yes, again), at about 8:30AM(BNE time).
We were going for the wildlife whale watching!
ALL ABOARD!
This was also our last day in Gold Coast :(
I love this place so damn much.
Oh, I can't breathe.
The roller coasters!
I can't tell which 'World' it is. (Dreamworld/Seaworld/Movieworld)
I can't tell which 'World' it is. (Dreamworld/Seaworld/Movieworld)
I'm guessing it's Seaworld though.
Mine & Diana's!
Prep talk by the people there about the whales and their nature.
Waiting eagerly for the whale to come!
The whale already is in the picture, SPOT IT!
The whale headed towards the little boat there.
I'm so jealous cause they must have had a really great view!
PLUS! The baby whale swam under their boat!
PLUS! The baby whale swam under their boat!
And vanished shortly...
):
And there it was again!
Such an entertainer!
Such an entertainer!
The baby whale came so up-close to our boat!
Isn't she a beauty?
Isn't she a beauty?
She kept spinning and spinning like a washing machine!
I absolutely adore this picture!
See that little rainbow? Awwwww.
See that little rainbow? Awwwww.
SPIN, SPIN, SPIN!
SORRY IF I'M BORING YOU WITH THE GAZILLION PICTURES OF THE WHALE!
(Dad, fishing?)
We caught some rest in the day.
And later that night, we headed to Skypoint.
UP UP HERE WE GO GO
WHERE WE STOP NOBODY KNOW KNOW
The magnificent view of Gold Coast!
Ooooh, how high we are.
Imagine falling down from here.
Fail shot.
And yet again.
Sorry I cut your hair off. Accidents happen.
Starfish!
PRESSED PENNIES!
Let me introduce you to my boyfriend.
Boyfriend, my no-name boyfriend.
Diana so happily attached.
Ravishing? ;)
So I tried hoisting the Ferris wheel, but to no avail.
Diana got pissed, and wanted to Hulk-smash it.
... Maybe not...
She's going to eat it!
Diana sitting on the point edge.
(Ouch, that must hurt.)
We then left to search for dinner!
LOL.
Mr Winky man!
The crazy shopper.
Last day of dinner here for us!
Diana had steak.
Diana had steak.
While I had a classic Fish & Chips.
Yums.
How would you like to be in that?!
My crazy ex-boyfriend who was always on Hulk mode.
I was pretty afraid of him/it though, seriously.
ELECTRIC CHAIR.
I WAS SO AFRAID IT WOULD SHOCK ME.
Cause this, is absolutely FREE.
You just had to press the button.
We had time to spare, so we decided on doing a little grocery shopping!
Chilly philly for you?
The crazy heaps of cookies!
COOKIE MONSTER
Croissants of an Xperia S size.
Toblerone of 400g nett weight.
Woolworths,
but slogan?
The fresh food people.
The fresh food people.
(Isn't that ColdStorage's?)
So that pretty much sums up our stay in Gold Coast.
The next morning, we got up crazy early.
We got up at about 4AM, and rushed like mad because our bus/van/transport was supposed to pick us up at 4.30AM(BNE).
(That would be 2AM SIN)
Or so, we thought.
But we were played by them.
We ended up waiting for about an hour at the lobby, because some people at the previous point(s) were late.
Got to the domestic airport, grabbed a bite.
Our flight was at 7:55AM(BNE).
Our flight was funny!
Cause we were tying our hair, following the app I downloaded on my iPad.
Cause we were tying our hair, following the app I downloaded on my iPad.
HAHAHA.
TOUCHDOWN @ BRISBANE
Chalked scribblings on the floor to sell their art!

Diana's lunch!
Fingered-Fish & Chips!
Hot chocolate with a pop of marsh-mellow!
The huge array of pastry selection!
(I'm drooling already!)
REALLY AWESOME CAKE.
Rich and really fresh cheesecake!
Would have polished the plate if not for the annoying lady who chased us off, claiming we were late for this tractor ride, when we already told her we would skip it.
IDIOT.
Reminds you of a song yet?
....
"How much wood would a woodchuck chuck. If a woodchuck could chuck wood?"
HI, LITTLE HANDSOME.
Diana so happily squeezing!
Me milking the cow!
But squeezing it's uhm, nipples, really gently cause I'm afraid I would hurt her.
Poor thing, molested by so many people.
I'm sorry if I hurt you, Mrs Moo.
Baby Meh!
"Mummy, MILK MILK MILK"
Handsome boy..
to center-parted bangs.
HAHAHAHA.
Diana started putting it's bangs to center parting.
It got MAD though.
Really MAD.

The Shaving Session
Yang mehmeh's furs.
Super soft to touch!
My epic face, after noticing how disgusting and dirty the scarecrow is.
KOALA FACTS
The Crap
Scared of being 'stomped' by no one for sitting on a tree.
Putcha BUTT in.
Cameras are NOT allowed!
Because people used flash in the dark environment, causing many of these baby penguins to vomit.
Because people used flash in the dark environment, causing many of these baby penguins to vomit.
Disclaimer: I took them WITHOUT flash, secretly.
Little penguins arriving from the sea, and waddled their way to the nesting zone.
They had to slide down this little path, that was blocking their ways.
And it's so ADORABLE.
They were hesitating and scared! (HAHAHA)
Some pushed each other down.
So mean right?!
But they all took a leap of faith, and scrambled to safety.
The plentiful of babies coming in.
OH OH OH! We had VIP seating because we paid more for our tickets.
WORTH EVERY PENNY, I ASSURE YOU.
It's crazy cold.
If you want views as good and 'not-as-up' up-close as this in the NORMAL seating, good luck you.
If you want views as good and 'not-as-up' up-close as this in the NORMAL seating, good luck you.
Because you will have to be seated really early and be in the cold.
At least an hour before.
(And seriously it's INSANELY cold, image the sea and the wind. Omg, freeze.)
Whereas, for VIP seating, there were very limited number of people, and the view is DAMN close.
It's like you can touch them already.
But the way these penguins crap, IMBA.
They just walk and SPLAT on the floor.
HAHAHAHAHA I CAN STILL REMEMBER.
HILARIOUS AND EPICLY FUNNY.
