Our flight was at 9.25PM, Singapore time.

I can still remember how excited I was for the trip!

Our first time travelling ourselves, PLUS, to a totally alien new country.

You can image the overwhelming amount of excitement flowing through my blood.

8 odd hours of flight, and we are finally here.

Got off to a cold morning, 9degrees, in Australia.

Pretty early, about 7am(SIN)?

Touched down at Brisbane Airport(BNE), Australia - The Capital City of Queensland!

Yippe yo, yippe yay!

It was so cold we could breathe smoke!

Vapour/Smoke check! (Every morning!)

Got onto the coach to make our way to Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast!
(Oh, me love this place ultimate.)

On the way there, I snapped quite a number of pictures.

This is how different their scenery is, compared to Sg's.

I was talking to this lady who was down with flu on the bus.

Apparently she lives in Surfers', and just got back from a 2-week holiday!
How cool is that.

I remember asking her this, "So, do you feel like you're on a holiday everyday?"

Her, "Yes, and I still do. Living here is like living in a holiday resort."

Oh lady! How envious I am of you!

Diana happily sleeping away while I was all eager and jumping around.

ALAS, I PRESENT TO YOU:

SURFERS' PARADISE.

So deadly gorgeous, it takes my breathe away.

The cute little cabin, quietly hooked behind each of the van, for luggage.

How smart right?

After an hour, or so, of travelling, we arrived at our hotel,

Mantra Legends Hotel.

Shortly later, we left the comfort zone for some touring!

1st August '12

Went to Seaworld today!
Didn't take any pictures with the camera cause we thought we were gonna get wet :(

We took a cab from our hotel to this place,
Marina Mirage.

The cab was crazy expensive!
It was pretty close a distance, maybe 10minutes tops?
And it costed us about $15AUD.

Diana's Moomoo slippers.

This was where we had our dinner!

LOL!

We got a card from Optus with network so we were easily accessed to INTERNET.

So, we had our social life.

Heater? I'm guessing that's what it's called.

Really cute black & red concept.

Diana all excited for dinner!

And I tried to act classy and all by ordering this champagne.

Well, I was wrong.

But then again, the little bit of alcohol level did warm the insides of me.

And it felt good, because it was cold there!

While paying the bill, I asked the cashier which nightclubs were good and stuff.

(HAHAHA, MISSION SECRETNIGHT)

After dinner, we were discussing how to get back to the hotel.

But, we figured the only way was via a cab.

We planned to take a cab, and got off at a certain amount of money because it was crazy expensive!
Hell no were we going to pay so much for a cab.

So we got off and decided to walk back to our hotel.

The really cool carpark payment modes - MASTERCARD/VISA.

2nd August '12 - Dream World & SECRETMISSION!

Pictures are all in our phones cause we didn't bring the camera there at all!

OH!
We went to have dinner at a Italian restaurant and made friends with the chef - Steve!

We then went back to our hotel, changed, and went to SIN City.

We also went to a, ahem, strip club.

(Promise you won't tell my mom!)

Exposure is good, isn't it?
We don't always want to be a frog in the well!

3rd August '12 - Whale Watching Cruise & Skypoint Observation!

A sleepy Diana.

We arrived here at the Marina Mirage, (yes, again), at about 8:30AM(BNE time).

We were going for the wildlife whale watching!

ALL ABOARD!

This was also our last day in Gold Coast :(

I love this place so damn much.

Oh, I can't breathe.

I'm guessing it's Seaworld though.

And later that night, we headed to Skypoint.

We had time to spare, so we decided on doing a little grocery shopping!

So that pretty much sums up our stay in Gold Coast.

The next morning, we got up crazy early.

We got up at about 4AM, and rushed like mad because our bus/van/transport was supposed to pick us up at 4.30AM(BNE).

(That would be 2AM SIN)

Or so, we thought.

But we were played by them.

We ended up waiting for about an hour at the lobby, because some people at the previous point(s) were late.

Got to the domestic airport, grabbed a bite.

Our flight was at 7:55AM(BNE).

Our flight was funny!
Cause we were tying our hair, following the app I downloaded on my iPad.

HAHAHA.

Scared of being 'stomped' by no one for sitting on a tree.

Cameras are NOT allowed!
Because people used flash in the dark environment, causing many of these baby penguins to vomit.

Disclaimer: I took them WITHOUT flash, secretly.

Little penguins arriving from the sea, and waddled their way to the nesting zone.

They had to slide down this little path, that was blocking their ways.

And it's so ADORABLE.

They were hesitating and scared! (HAHAHA)

Some pushed each other down.

So mean right?!

But they all took a leap of faith, and scrambled to safety.

The plentiful of babies coming in.

OH OH OH! We had VIP seating because we paid more for our tickets.

WORTH EVERY PENNY, I ASSURE YOU.

It's crazy cold.
If you want views as good and 'not-as-up' up-close as this in the NORMAL seating, good luck you.

Because you will have to be seated really early and be in the cold.

At least an hour before.

(And seriously it's INSANELY cold, image the sea and the wind. Omg, freeze.)

Whereas, for VIP seating, there were very limited number of people, and the view is DAMN close.

It's like you can touch them already.

But the way these penguins crap, IMBA.

They just walk and SPLAT on the floor.

HAHAHAHAHA I CAN STILL REMEMBER.
