The boy meet girl story

Today, I'll like to do a depressed post.A story, of maybe, a couple, who were never meant to be.
The first night they met, 35 months ago. Maybe at around this timing too.
At Rebel. Dressed in only a tube top & shorts instead of the usual dress, she was pretty sure, it was gonna be a wild night with her sister.
Shortly later, she knew this guy.
They spent the next few days together, watching movie and stuff. And got together shortly.
The first movie they caught together, was a show, which was about an election, and about bringing the other party down. It was a Chinese movie. HIS type of show, his genre. They caught it with her sister & his friend.
Before the movie, they all went to have KFC. Yep, that was pretty much the first date.
On Chinese New Year, he went to his friend's place to drink. She was at a chalet, and got home late. He was in the vicinity of her residence, he suggested meeting up. She said okay. They hung out together at the park till the wee hours. And finally decided to go home just before her maid/parents would wake up.
They partied together, they got drunk together, they puked together... They did everything together.
Everything was happy and joyful. He got her a ring, on that very year's valentine day. He sneaked a ring into her bag, only allowing her to find it back when she was home. But little did he know, she has already seen the tiny box hiding in a corner of her bag. (Wink)
Once in awhile, he would follow his cousin down, to meet her at the bus stop, to take the same bus to school. Going for lunch together during lunch breaks. Surprising her with her favourite Disney character, Stitch, during lesson. Waiting for her to finish class or doing her project, just so that they could go for dinner or to send her home. They would study together during the study breaks for their exams, tease each other to enlighten the stressful atmosphere. The beautiful memories.
She made his 21st, as best as possible. Memories that remind him of the happy times to help pull him through NS.
He got enlisted, four days after her birthday last year. She wrote him letters, and accompanied him during his book-out days. She remembers never to plan gatherings with her friends, especially during Saturdays. Or at least she really tries. She tries to plan it on friday nights, so at least after meeting them for dinner, she could find him, and also to spend a whole full Saturday with him. Because those were the only days they could meet each other every week. Sunday was a family day for her.
This year, 2012, they broke up. He met her at the very same club they met, only to throw the ring at her. She tried looking for the ring, but to no avail. It was gone, as was their relationship.
This year had been a really rocky year for them. It was well, and it turned sour, got well, and turned gloomy again. They were so close to fulfilling the three years of togetherness, love, and pulling through the tough times together. But, yeah.
Maybe she gave up, maybe he gave up.
